ITINERARY
DAY 01- Arrival Kathmandu (1400m):
Arrive Kathmandu Air port and transfer to Hotel by our Scort.
DAY 02 -SIGHT SEEING OF KATHMANDU:
Visit temple of Pashupatinath biggest Hindu Temple. After paying homage to the lord Pasupathi will visit of Kathmandu city including Budhanolkantha, the where lies the temple of Bishnu Narayan famous for it's large idol of Narayan laying on the bed of snakes in water, Boudhanath Buddhist Stupa in town, BHAKTAPUR Durbar Square 15th century Famous Palace of 55 windows.Stay at Hotel.
DAY 03 - DRIVE TO NYALAM (3750m):
Leave Kathmandu early in the morning, drive - 125 km (approx 4.30hrs) through the beautiful Nepalese countryside to Kodari on Nepal Side. After completing process of Nepalese and Chinese immigration and customs formalities drive up 40 km (approx 2½ hrs) from the border to reach Nyalam, See all the Estern himalayan views from Nyalam,stay at Guest House in Nyalam.
DAY 04 STAY ONE DAY MORE FOR ACCLIMMITIATION IN NYALAM (3750m ):
Spend a day for the acclimatize, a short way out of Nyalam bazaar there is a small temple, called Nyalam Pelgye Ling, which is associated with eleventh- and twelfth-century poet-lama Milarepa,stay at the same Guest House. in Nyalam.
DAY 05 DRIVE TO SAGA (4840m):
Drive approx 8 hrs (250 km) to the huge lake called Peiku-tso crossing two high passes. After a picnic lunch at bank of Peiku-tso lake we continue drive to Saga crossing the Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra River) stay at Guest House in Saga.
DAY 06 -DRIVE TO PRAYANG (4540m):
After a drive of (250 km) 8 hrs approx, we will reach to Prayang, this is a small town,Stay at Lodge.
DAY 07 - DRIVE TO MANSAROVAR (4558m):
After the drive of 280 km approx 8 hrs, we reach holy lake Manasarovar located just 30km south of Base Camp of Mt Kailash.(Darchen) stay at the lodge/Camp in Hore Mansarovar.
DAY 08 - Drive to MANASAROVAR – (4560m.):
After taking holy bath and permorming Puja,will take you to Parikrama of mansarovar lake and proceed to Base Camp of Mt.Kailash - stay at Guest House in Darchen.
DAY 09 - TREK TO DIRA-PUK (4900m):
Drive about 8 km to Tarboche by the same car, this is the starting point of Kora and trek to Derphuk stay at Camp.the 55km trek around Mt.Kailash. Those who do not want wish to trek around Kailash can go back to Mansorovar / Darchen and wait for the kora group to return.
DAY 10 TREK TO ZUTUL-PUK (4790m):
will again proceed to Drolma Chu Valley, heading up towards a high pass, the Drolma La (5640m). It’s a tough climb to the summit which is festooned with prayer flags but from there it is all downhill or flat to Zutul-puk.stay at the camp of Zutul phuk.
DAY 11 SHORT TREK AND DRIVE TO DARCHEN (4560m) - DRIVE TO TAKLAKOT:
After completing Kora will go further 2 hrs treks where our Jeeps will be awaiting for us.Drive to Taklakot via Darchen - stay at Taklakot Guest House.
DAY 12 -: DRIVE TO SHERA - HILSA- SIMIKOT-NEPALGUNJ:
Early morning drive to Shera and afetr a short walk reach Hilsa - Helicopter to Surkhet / Nepalgunj & fly back to Kathmandu or Drive to Indian border and drop to Lucknow by Sumo for onwrd journeys.
Day 13 -: FINAL DEPARTURE OF ONWARD JOURNEYS:
Transfer to KATHMANDU Airport for onward journeys.
