Tansen Excursion (via Pokhara or Lumbini)

A Beautiful Hill Station in the western part of Nepal, Tansen is the headquarter of Palpa District. It lies between Pokhara (122 km from Tansen), a famous tourist city and Lumbini (85 km from Tansen). The township of Tansen is among a few towns outside the capital which bears a rich legacy of the traditional art and architecture. Perched on the lap of the spectacular Srinagar Hill. The major attraction are Nepali cap, Palpa durbar (palace), bounz Karuwa and Srinagar viewpoint.

Itinerary

Tansen can be visited on the way from Pokhara to Lumbini or Lumbini to Pokhara. Just take short diversion to tansen. Tansen is the ancient city near Lumbini. As it is famous for Nepali dhaka cloth and Nepali cap. Further Palpa durbar is another tourist attraction. If you are interested you can do overnight at Srinagar also.
