Gorkha Excursion (via Kathmandu and Pokhara)

Gorkha situated 140 km west from Kathmandu. It is the ancestral hometown of the Nepal’s ruling royal family. While going to Pokhara from Kathmandu or Pokhara to Kathmandu you can take diversion to Gorkha. Main attraction is Gorkha durbar (palace of king Prithivi Bir Bikram shah).

Itinerary

On the way to Pokhara from Kathmandu or vice versa take a diversion to Gorkha from Khaireni Bazzar.Short hike to Gorkha Durbar. Visit Gorakhnath temple and Gorkha Bazaar. Overnight stay at Gorkaha. Next day you can continue your Journeys to Kathmandu or Pokhara.
