5 Star ·  “I have taken 4N / 5D Trip plan from Kailash Journeys. Our guide Mr Laxman was very punctual, coming exactly on mentioned time and has good knowledge about places, drove skillfully well through the narrow hill roads . The trip was planned well. When we requested a change in the trip after reaching kathmandu it was accepted and Mr Rajkumar made the changes accordingly. They provided a car along with driver for sight seeings and pickup and drop at hotel. No need of hiring any other vehicle anywhere else. The trip was made very easy and memorable due to Kailash Journeys… I realised after the trip that the reviews about them are true and recommend Kailash Journeys for people visiting Nepal.”

5 Star · December 3, 2014 · Excellent service by Kailash. Will try and provide a review as detail as I can. Hopefully this will benefit others. Our trip was a family trip of 6 adults and 2 children, aged 8 and 10. Travel period : 15/11/2014 to 23/11/2014. The ground budget package was for 9 days and 8 nights, Kathmandu for 2 days, Nagarkot for 1 night, Pokhara for 3 days and 2 days in Chitwan.Despite the long bumpy and rough journey on the winding roads, it turned out to be a great, fun and memorable family trip. Firstly, all our listless queries were answered clearly and promptly by Kailash before our arrival. The driver Mr Mohan is friendly man and has made us feel at ease at all times. As we are Muslims, our needs to offer our prayers and eat halal food were all taken into account. Here are the lists of budget hotels that we stayed (arranged by Kailash) and a bit of review for each: 1. Thamel Hotel Kathmandu: Friendly hotel staffs, accessible within walking distance to do souvenir shopping. Walking distance to many restaurants including 2 halal restaurants (al Medina and al Mekka restaurants). The only downside is that the hotel room is comparatively small to other hotels we went. 2. Peaceful Cottage Nagarkot: Lovely, spacious and unique rooms with breathless mountain scenery. The rooms are too beautiful to be classified as a budget hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Only that, I found it very cold at night, without heating system in the rooms. The staffs did provide us with few hot water bottles. There was hot water supply at all hotels we went. 3. Hotel Asia Pokhara: Rooms are clean and spacious. Again, helpful and friendly hotel staffs. Honestly, we really think that in general, all the Nepalese are nice, friendly and very humble people. The hotel is above satisfactory level despite being a budget hotel. Also, from the rooftop, we were able to enjoy the mountain view of Annapurna Himalayan range. It would have been clearer if the weather was not misty. 4. Rhino Lodge Chitwan: We absolutely loved this place!! Must go there if u were to travel to Chitwan! We did not expect to have so much fun there. That’s all we can say about Rhino Lodge. They catered to our halal meals at the hotel itself, throughout our stay. Loved their Masala tea! The activities arranged by the hotel staffs which came as a package were superb! Village sightseeing, canoeing along misty river in early morning, jungle safari walk, bathing with the elephants, elephant ride in the jungle and river crossing for nearly 1 and a half hour probably longer, traditional dance…. All left us with wonderful memories! Other extra activities arranged by Kailash: 1. Paragliding with Sunrise Company and Phoenix Company. Both companies are equally good. Most of their paragliding pilots and instructors are from European countries. Few of them are Nepalese, able to speak very good English. They explained everything professionally and we were very satisfied! Even my 2 children enjoyed this experience. 2. Mountain flights with Simrik Airlines. Thank goodness we took this flight. Initially we were all frustrated with the weather in Pokhara and Nagarkot for not being able to fully enjoy the white mountain sceneries. We read few reviews in the internet saying that some people were not able to see clearly during their mountain flights and would like their money refund. Ours were different. We saw vividly from a near distance the surfaces and the peaks of Himalayan mountains. 3. Trekking up a hill (height 1150m from sea level), above is Peace Stupa/ Buddha Stupha. Not a single regret going up this hill, meeting the villagers and children up and down the hill, seeing their different ways of lives, and the view of the lakes, mountains etc up there wowww… like the ones we saw in the magazines and posters! Would suggest Kailash to add another activity like photograph session while wearing traditional Nepalese costumes during the trip. This, we arranged ourselves. Thank you very much Kailash for making our trip to Nepal such a memorable one, adventurous and full of emotions! Recommended Kailash to everyone as the package price is reasonable and cheaper than other travel companies we enquired. Worth it! My husband, brother in law and uncle hope to return to Nepal for the Annapurna base camp trekking with Kailash.

“A Tour to Himalayas to remember” – So it was our honeymoon tour and being both of us mountain lovers, we decided to visit Nepal. We were looking for a local tour operator there and after surfing internet a lot, Kailash Journeys’ reviews impressed us and we contacted them. What followed was impressive communication till the end of the tour and prompt responses. From our bank transactions, which was not that simple being a foreign one to itinerary planning to proper arrangements and extra care when we informed them it is going to be our honeymoon – everything was perfect. We stayed in top quality hotels, was given a superb AC sedan car for the whole tour. Mr. Rajkumar and Mr. Ranjit Shrestha both were always there to help us – before and during the tour. The driver come guide was extremely friendly and helpful who made sure everything runs smoothly. Definitely recommended. It worth every penny. -Rajjocraft, India

5 Star · “It was the most enchanting 10 days and I am so glad to have engaged Kailash Journeys for our holiday in Nepal. From the beginning, Kailash has been very efficient in answering all our enquiries and providing us with all the necessary information prior to our trip….On the day of our arrival, we were picked up promptly at the airport and everything from then on was nothing less than stellar. All our check ins and check outs at the various hotels were seamless and we never had any administration hiccups. Our tour officer Mr Rajkumar Kurung was always checking up on us through phone calls and messages to make sure that we were doing good. He met us the day after our arrival in Kathmandu and on our last day before we departed home to make sure everything was okay and that we had a pleasant time. Customer relations as such is truly commendable. Nepal has been a hugely humbling experience… Nepal has so much heart and hope. I am so thankful to have had this life changing experience. Thank you so much to Kailash Journeys for making this trip a truly memorable one for my sister and I. I wish Kailash Journeys the best and may the company reach greater heights! -Badrun Nisa, Singapore

5 Star · April 30, 2016 · For us it was a great trip of a lifetime. It was possible only because of the team of Kailash Journeys Pvt. Ltd, who took all pains against all odds to see that all goes well with each and every traveler. A beautiful place with beautiful surroundings and feeling of freshness all around was made much more beautiful and comfortable because of the cooking team and the team guide Raj kumar throughout the journey. No words are enough to thank the whole team of Kailash Journeys Pvt. Ltd. Each one going on this trip must carry a camera, a walking stick, thermals ( 2/3 pairs minimum),a one litre flask and lots of sun screen (not less than 75 spf) and shoes with good grip. With full confidence in mind all can do this journey very comfortably with these tour operators. All the very best for all who are aspiring to go.
