March 21, 2016 · I am just writing to thank you for the excellent trip that I had with your company from the 4/3/16 until 13/3/16 in Nepal. From our arrival in Nepal to leaving all was well organised and was a wonderful experience despite the challenges of fuel shortages and earthquake damage. It was wonderful to have a careful and conscientious driver. The tour was varied and allowed us to see key aspects of Nepal. Many thanks – Margaret butler & Angela King

5 Star · April 02, 2016 · Our experience in Nepal was amazing! Traveling with my 3 young children, I had no idea where to start in our planning and Kailash Journeys took all the work and worry out. From my first email inquiries, Rajiv was quickly responsive and accommodating. Our experience was well planned and exceeded our expectations. We were checked on throughout our trip and any small concerns were immediately fixed. Our hotels, programs, and guides were all fantastic. A special thank you to our driver who navigated some difficult roads very safely. He was very nice to our children and answered all of our questions. I would very highly recommend Kailash journeys!

5 Star · May 26, 2016 · It was once in lifetime divine experience in Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. The staff of Kailash Journeys (to name a few….Mr. Kalyan Parajuli, Mr. Paras, Mr. Rajkumar and their team) made it easy, even against all odds, by their dedication and friendly approach. I would say that if it is Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, then it has to be in hands of experts…. the Kailash Journeys. Visited May 2016

Not forgetting to thank Mr. Manoz our very skillful driver who sent us everywhere without any complaints. Thanks to him we had a very pleasant and safe journey visiting different parts of Nepal. 5 Star · December 3, 2014 · Excellent service by Kailash. Will try and provide a review as detail as I can. Hopefully this will benefit others. Our trip was a family trip of 6 adults and 2 children, aged 8 and 10. Travel period : 15/11/2014 to 23/11/2014. The ground budget package was for 9 days and 8 nights, Kathmandu for 2 days, Nagarkot for 1 night, Pokhara for 3 days and 2 days in Chitwan.Despite the long bumpy and rough journey on the winding roads, it turned out to be a great, fun and memorable family trip. Firstly, all our listless queries were answered clearly and promptly by Kailash before our arrival. The driver Mr Mohan is friendly man and has made us feel at ease at all times. As we are Muslims, our needs to offer our prayers and eat halal food were all taken into account. Here are the lists of budget hotels that we stayed (arranged by Kailash) and a bit of review for each: 1. Thamel Hotel Kathmandu: Friendly hotel staffs, accessible within walking distance to do souvenir shopping. Walking distance to many restaurants including 2 halal restaurants (al Medina and al Mekka restaurants). The only downside is that the hotel room is comparatively small to other hotels we went. 2. Peaceful Cottage Nagarkot: Lovely, spacious and unique rooms with breathless mountain scenery. The rooms are too beautiful to be classified as a budget hotel. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Only that, I found it very cold at night, without heating system in the rooms. The staffs did provide us with few hot water bottles. There was hot water supply at all hotels we went. 3. Hotel Asia Pokhara: Rooms are clean and spacious. Again, helpful and friendly hotel staffs. Honestly, we really think that in general, all the Nepalese are nice, friendly and very humble people. The hotel is above satisfactory level despite being a budget hotel. Also, from the rooftop, we were able to enjoy the mountain view of Annapurna Himalayan range. It would have been clearer if the weather was not misty. 4. Rhino Lodge Chitwan: We absolutely loved this place!! Must go there if u were to travel to Chitwan! We did not expect to have so much fun there. That’s all we can say about Rhino Lodge. They catered to our halal meals at the hotel itself, throughout our stay. Loved their Masala tea! The activities arranged by the hotel staffs which came as a package were superb! Village sightseeing, canoeing along misty river in early morning, jungle safari walk, bathing with the elephants, elephant ride in the jungle and river crossing for nearly 1 and a half hour probably longer, traditional dance…. All left us with wonderful memories! Other extra activities arranged by Kailash: 1. Paragliding with Sunrise Company and Phoenix Company. Both companies are equally good. Most of their paragliding pilots and instructors are from European countries. Few of them are Nepalese, able to speak very good English. They explained everything professionally and we were very satisfied! Even my 2 children enjoyed this experience. 2. Mountain flights with Simrik Airlines. Thank goodness we took this flight. Initially we were all frustrated with the weather in Pokhara and Nagarkot for not being able to fully enjoy the white mountain sceneries. We read few reviews in the internet saying that some people were not able to see clearly during their mountain flights and would like their money refund. Ours were different. We saw vividly from a near distance the surfaces and the peaks of Himalayan mountains. 3. Trekking up a hill (height 1150m from sea level), above is Peace Stupa/ Buddha Stupha. Not a single regret going up this hill, meeting the villagers and children up and down the hill, seeing their different ways of lives, and the view of the lakes, mountains etc up there wowww… like the ones we saw in the magazines and posters! Would suggest Kailash to add another activity like photograph session while wearing traditional Nepalese costumes during the trip. This, we arranged ourselves. Thank you very much Kailash for making our trip to Nepal such a memorable one, adventurous and full of emotions! Recommended Kailash to everyone as the package price is reasonable and cheaper than other travel companies we enquired. Worth it! My husband, brother in law and uncle hope to return to Nepal for the Annapurna base camp trekking with Kailash.

“A Tour to Himalayas to remember” – So it was our honeymoon tour and being both of us mountain lovers, we decided to visit Nepal. We were looking for a local tour operator there and after surfing internet a lot, Kailash Journeys’ reviews impressed us and we contacted them. What followed was impressive communication till the end of the tour and prompt responses. From our bank transactions, which was not that simple being a foreign one to itinerary planning to proper arrangements and extra care when we informed them it is going to be our honeymoon – everything was perfect. We stayed in top quality hotels, was given a superb AC sedan car for the whole tour. Mr. Rajkumar and Mr. Ranjit Shrestha both were always there to help us – before and during the tour. The driver come guide was extremely friendly and helpful who made sure everything runs smoothly. Definitely recommended. It worth every penny. -Rajjocraft, India

Thanks Mr. Rajan for organizing the trip. It was very well managed and they took care of us very well. Special thanks to the Nepali Sherpas that Kailash Journey had arranged for us, were very good and took really good care of us without. It is a difficult journey and it wouldn’t have been possible without the them.

5 Star · “We (Family of 3) chose Kailash Journeys for our Kailash Mansarovar & Muktinath trip in May. Started initiating discussions with Mr.Kalyan Parajuli at the start of the year and Mr.Kalyan was prompt in answering all the queries. The accommodation provided at Kathmandu & Nepalgunj was good and the representatives of Kailash Journeys at each transit point in Nepal ensured smooth transition to our next destinations. Once we reached Tibet, the sherpas team lead by Mr.Rajkumar and Mr.Lama Babu took complete care of us. Personalized attention was provided to everyone. Without the guidance and help of the hardworking Sherpa team, it would have been difficult for me to complete the 3 day parikrama. On the way back from Tibet, the management team ensured that we complete our trip and reach Kathmandu on schedule….Overall it was a very well organized trip by Kailash Journeys. Recommended.
